Many of our GPs have a special interest in Women’s Health, especially diagnosing and treating the Menopause.

A check up with your GP around the time of the menopause will include a discussion about menopausal symptoms, a general medical check-up, screening, lifestyle advice, bone health discussion, blood tests and advice about HRT.

Dr Nicola Cochrane is a women’s health and menopause expert with vast knowledge of up to date menopause treatment options. When she is not working at our GP surgery, Dr Cochrane also works at the National Complex Menopause Clinic and Mirena Clinic in National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street, Dublin.

Dr Miriam Daly has 20 years of experience providing care and treatment to women in the menopause. She previously worked as Director for Women’s Health in the Irish College of General Practice.
