GP Visit Card Over 70s

From 5th August 2015 everyone aged 70 or over, ordinarily resident in Ireland, will be eligible for free GP care regardless of income.
All people aged 70 or over who do not have a Medical Card or GP Visit card can register to access this service.

How do I register for this scheme?

Medical Card or GP Visit Card Holders do not have to register for this scheme.
Non-Medical Card or GP Visit Card holders can register if aged 70 or over provided they are ordinarily resident in Ireland.

Under 6's Contract

If you wish to register your child with our practice for the 'Under 6's card', Please telephone the surgery before you apply for the card to ensure that we have your child's details on file. This avoids any unnecessary delays in receiving your card.

To register go to the HSE website and have your child's PPS number to hand.  http://www.hse.ie/under6contract

Once you have received your GP visit card you are entitled to free GP care for your under 6 children.
