Dr Nicola Cochrane
Nicola graduated from UCD Medicine 1993 and trained in General Practice completing MRCGP in Edinburgh 1998.
A founding member of Carrig Clinic in Greystones Co Wicklow which was established 2004 , Nicola continued training and experience in Sexual & Reproductive Health Care while managing her GP Practice.
She has expertise in Forensic and Legal Medicine and worked as a SATU doctor in Rotunda and with Spirasi Dublin as a Forensic Medical Examiner. She works for Safetynet Dublin in Inclusion Health Hub and with Dr Deirdre Lundy in Specialist Clinics for Mirena IUD and Complex Menopause Clinic in National Maternity Hospital, Dublin.
She has worked as a GP Trainer with RCSI Scheme in Dublin and provides Education and training for GPs as both a LARC trainer and BMS Menopause Trainer. She is a current Board Member of Menopause Society of Ireland. Nicola has a Diploma in Infectious Diseases and is a HSE Approved PrEP Provider and works as a Tutor in RCPI Diploma in Infectious Diseases.
